Digital Ear Scanning with Otoscan

Our clinic is equipped with the latest audiological technology, the Otoscan digital ear scanner.

Otoscan is a 3D digital ear scanner designed to take accurate images of the shape of the ear canal and outer ear for more accurate and comfortable earmoulds, custom-made hearing aids and custom-made hearing protection. The process can also be a more comfortable option when compared to the traditional audiological impression, where a small piece of cotton-wool is inserted into the ear canal and filled with putty-like impression material. All of our audiologists are fully trained in ear scanning.

Please Note: Not all ears have anatomy that is suitable for scanning, so traditional ear impressions may still be required.
